Donker Duyvisweg 70 is located in the Port of Dordrecht, one of the world’s most important maritime clusters, close to the Port of Rotterdam. The location benefits from excellent multimodal connections via inland shipping, deep-sea shipping, road, and rail, situated at a strategic crossroads between hinterland and foreland.
Via inland shipping, Dordrecht Inland Seaport is connected to Moerdijk, the German border, and Antwerp. The A16 motorway, which connects Rotterdam and Antwerp, runs directly alongside the port. The port is also favorably located near the N3, which links the A16 with the A15. In addition, the transport of general cargo, containers, and bulk goods by rail is possible thanks to a main railway line running through the port area.

Dordrecht Inland Seaport is the most inland seaport in the Netherlands and is unique in terms of location and accessibility. The port area is situated at the crossroads of foreland and hinterland, and thanks to a water depth of 10 meters, the port is also accessible to seagoing vessels. Inland and seagoing ships can reach Dordrecht in approximately three hours from the North Sea and the terminals at Rotterdam’s Maasvlakte. Its inland location offers the advantage that maritime cargo can bypass the congestion-prone A15 motorway.
The proximity of, among others, shipyards, recycling companies, steel producers, and processing industries already provides substantial cargo flows for dry bulk and breakbulk handling. The port is centrally located between the (petro-)chemical clusters of the Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Moerdijk. Thanks to its excellent multimodal capabilities, Botlek RotterdamDordrecht Inland Seaport is highly suitable for logistics services.
Sustainability is a core principle of GEMSTONE Dordrecht. The development is designed to achieve a BREEAM Excellent certification, independently validating its performance in:
BREEAM certification ensures a transparent, high-quality and future-proof logistics building.
