Willem Slager is the founder and CEO of GEM. He started his career in real estate in 1998, only 19 years of age, and soon found his calling in logistics real estate. Over the past 25 years, Willem has grown from a driven agent into an accomplished developer and director. He ultimately leads one of the largest company in logistics real estate in the Netherlands for many years.

With more than 1.5 million square meters developed and over €2 billion in completed projects, he brings deep expertise, sharp commercial instinct, and a constant drive to perform. Outside of work, Willem finds his thrill and focus in kitesurfing — a sport that reflects his character: bold, precise, and always highly dynamic.
